How to remove ubufox extension from Ubuntu

netstat shows unknown connections to *.clients.your-server.de domain

Upon starting Firefox and web browsing, when I perform a netstat -tuape, I find a network connection opened and shut down which points to a server *.clients.your-server.de.

Upon further investigation with $ sudo netstat -tuape <enter>

Firefox still running when re-opening after closing it on Xubuntu 13.04

A message appears stating that firefox is still running and the window needs to be closed even though Firefox has already been closed on Xubuntu 13.04. To eliminate this issue, enter following command in a terminal window. $ sudo apt-get remove firefox-gnome-support <enter>

How to remove Swiftfox in Ubuntu 12.04
