MumbaiStock – A Perl module for Finance::Quote to enable stock price retrieval from the Bombay Stock Exchange

MumbaiStock v 1.0 Gnucash Finance Module has been released. This is a totally new module to parse the page at the Bombay Stock Exchange web site to retrieve the bhav copy for the last trading day. This module will fetch the last traded price from the bhavcopy for use with GnuCash.

Add PERL modules using CPAN

$ su # perl -MCPAN -e shell Answer <ENTER> to all questions (choose defaults) To install CPAN modules: Start up internet # cpan>install Time::HiRes This will install and compile the downloaded module.

If you get above error in perl, your first line of the perl script is not #! /usr/bin/perl or the # may be missing from it or there is a spelling mistake
